School Holiday Accommodation and Cadbury Carnival 2015

If you or your friends are looking for somewhere to go and something to do for the school holidays, then Cadbury Chocolate Carnival in Dunedin is a must. Motels accommodation for Cadbury carnival Jaffa race Dunedin

Running from 11 to 17 July, there are exciting Carnival related events taking place every day of the week, including such things as:

  • A fun run.
  • Cake decorating classes – with chocolate, of course!
  • Theatre events.
  • Wildlife visits.
  • And lots, lots more.

The carnival culminates on Friday 17 July with the amazing Jaffa Race, in which up to 75,000 Jaffas (small round lollies, not Aucklanders) are rolled down Baldwin St – the world’s steepest street – reaching speeds of up to 100 kph!!! If your lolly wins the race, you can win amazing prizes.

Tourist Court Cottages motel is ideally located for all carnival events – especially for the Great Jaffa Race.  We would love to have you stay.

A Home Away From Home

Dear Pam and John

Can you believe that we’ve been back in Perth for over two months now!  How time flies!  We had a wonderful time in New Zealand – wish we were back there right now! We would like to thank you very much for showing us great hospitality and offering us advice on sights and events in Dunedin and surrounds.  Pam’s computerised “tiki tour” was very informative and she showed much pleasure in presenting it to us.

Your motel rooms were delightful – clean comfortable and well equipped – like being home – and we would readily recommend you to one and all. Once again thank you for your warmth and assistance. Hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

Also if you are ever in Perth do not hesitate to contact us.

Kindest regards,
Lina and Chris Gondinoudis,

A Real Little Gem!

Thanks so much for your awesome accommodation – one of the very best places we’ve  stayed in over the years.  We spend a lot of time on the road working. We hope to be back again soon!  Please accept a little token of appreciation.**

Kind regards
Liz & Siegfried Gassner

Liz & Siegfried then went on to Tripadvisor and left this comment:

Our work involves alot of travel through New Zealand and staying in many types of accommodation. We prefer clean, warm and friendly places. It was during our fifth stay in Dunedin this year that we were attracted by the Tourist Court Motel’s free wireless internet. Imagine our delight when we arrived to a friendly reception late one cold winters evening with the heaters already on in our rooms. It was just perfect.
The rooms were set out like an apartment with a full kitchen, separate lounge with flat screen TV and dinette, and separate bedroom (with electric blankets – great), separate bathroom (great water pressure) and toilet. Lots of room to spread out and relax. What we most enjoyed was the wonderful decor – while obviously updated it has been done very tastefully and it was a nice touch to leave some of the 70’s in the rooms as all was in pristine working order and being eco friendly why would you replace unnecessarily.
The rooms were immaculate and very clean.
Tourist Court Motel is definitely value for the money. We will be booking again with them for our next trip to Dunedin.

Our thanks to Liz & Siegfried.
